Full installation, overhaul & repair of all Wartsila Propulsion systems (tailshafts & hubs, tunnel and retractable thrusters, seals & bearings).

All Stern Tube Seals, bearings & alignment Engine work / assistance as required. Propulsion work / assistance as required.

Responsible for routine maintenance, emergency overhaul, service guarantee, and warranty investigations. Perform maintenance and overhaul on 2 stroke engines (power rating 1,275kW – 80,000kW). Perform maintenance and overhaul on 4 stroke engines (power rating 4,000kW – 25,000kW). Engine to gear box to shaft line alignments. Factory and workshop trained on PAXMAN Valenta RP200 Engines All workshop processes overhauling various engine components.

All site pump and motor alignments including base installation. Assist pipe fitters and finalize pipe strain. Work with “General Electric” rep to install Turbines to commissioning stage. As needed help maintenance crews perform maintenance in live plant.

Warm Lime Softener construction – Fabrication / modification to structure and components Install and align all mechanical components for tank. Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings. Marking out & setting of templates for steelwork and piping. Alignment of rake and turbine shafts, and drive units.

Shut down maintenance and equipment installation in Zinc Mill & Underground Mine. Installed, aligned, dismantled, and moved machinery including pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors.

 Managed and coordinated mechanic crews for principle refits and emergency dockings functions.  Supervised all engine maintenance work during refits. Engines consisted mainly of CAT, John Deer & FINNING  Planned and tracked workflow for multiple work teams across different functions.  Controlled all lifting equipment, yard equipment, and machinery as well as vehicle maintenance and repairs.  Monitored crew performance to maintain workplace safety and operational compliance.  Breaking in and trial running of any installed equipment.

 Responsible for the “Reduced Liquid Discharge” Facility building construction & installation / commissioning of the critical equipment. Some of which is listed below: o Evaporator recirculation & distillate pumps. o Evaporator distillate vessel and heat exchangers. o Crystallizer vapor compressor. o Crystallizer feed, recirculation & condensate pumps. o Gould pumps - Sump transfer, distillate & brine transfer pumps o Crystallizer Brine & Feed tanks and associated internal mixers & motors.  Utilized blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to strategize project timeline, work crew, and equipment.  All layout, fabrication & installation of production equipment.  Marking out & setting of templates for machinery, drilling and tapping for any equipment regardless of materials.  Grinding, cleaning, servicing & machine work necessary for equipment.  Laser coupling alignment, precision optical leveling and alignment.
