I am currently providing private lessons and counseling in the following subjects : french language, french sociolinguistics, basic sociology (french), pedagogy and Montessori pedagogy.

I was in charge of teaching french to new immigrants who arrived in Rennes. This class was designed for adolescents who had never been to school before. They had to learn how to read, write, basic mathematics and "school etiquette" in addition to learning french. I worked in coordination with the other teacher to build our lessons plans and program throughout the year to help the students meet those numerous criterias.

I was in charge of teaching one subject (introduction to sociolinguistics) to third year students in the Information-Communication department. We worked on their presentations throughout the semester and I provided adequate feedback and evaluation to assess their level of knowledge of that subject. I provided support and advice to help them build the best presentations they could make.

As an intern, I observed various teachers in their work environment and they way they built their syllabus as well as how they delivered their classes. My goal was to gather enough material to analyse how teachers in Finnish higher education helped students to learn french and what were the main pedagogical methods employed to reach this objective. I was also in charge of teaching of the linguistic support workshop and holding weekly study hours to help students in their studies.

I was working in the English library and had to make sure the students could find the books and articles they were looking for as well as making sure everything was in order in our database and in the library. I was also in charge of maintaining the books in good condition and repairing them when needed.

Providing cultural and linguistic help to students Teaching to small groups of students

Teaching small groups of high schoolers, providing cultural and original material to encourage their use and learning of the french language. I also provided private tutoring and helped the teachers in classrooms.
