Huyen Nguyen

As Principal Consultant, she took main responsibility in proposal writing, and outputs deliveries for clients. Specifically, her main tasks during each project include proposal writing with work plan and budget development; project managing and implementing, including but not limited to desk research, survey tools design (i.e. questionnaires, interview guideline, etc.), fieldwork implementation (such as focus group discussion facilitation, in-depth interview implementation), data analysis, report writing, report translation, and liaison with relevant stakeholders. She actively involved in research works with international donors, including IFC, World Bank, IFAD, Dfid, Danida, SECO, BTC, and a variety of different NGOs in evaluation projects. Huyen has been recently in charge of managing survey projects on IFC’s Gender Borrowers survey in Vietnam (2013); IFC’s Business satisfaction survey on Administrative Procedure Reform (2013); ACID-funded Mid-term Evaluation the Project 10-CO1-037 (2012); IFC’s mapping of the existing auditing and training initiatives in social compliance and productivity for the Vietnamese apparel industry (2012), etc. In addition, she has also served private clients with market analysis and survey – including for example some key assignments such as Business environment research for Zeochem (2013), Finnova – market research on core-banking (2012), Frankfurt School- DEG’s SMEs Survey - Innovation for SMEs in Vietnam (2011); Market check for SR Technics Switzerland AG (2011), etc.
