- A highly technical shoot involving intricate shots and choreography. - Coordinated with the, director, director of photography and sound mixer to establish a creative vision in relation to the footage’s nuances. - Spliced and edited raw camera footage in accordance with the narrative and director’s notes.

- A crucial production role in coordinating and managing a total of 55 cast & crew members. - Working closely with the producer, director and director of photography over a 3-day shoot. Drafted the schedules and call sheets for production. - Contacted and coordinated with a large selection of background talent through databases and casting calls.

- An intensive workshop program spanning a week. - Conducted by industry professionals, the workshop delved into various segments; from best practices in navigating grants, to the practicalities of the creative process in direction and storytelling. - Multiple case studies were analyzed over the duration of the workshop, each offering certain nuances in relation to the filmmakers’ specialities.

- Played a supporting role in this short film as the character of “Ziyad.” - Assisted in the location scouting for certain scenes, discussing and mitigating between affiliated parties to secure locations to shoot in establishments. - Was responsible for editing and curating the news segment. Involved in acquiring and compiling a collection of stock footage . - Utilized motion graphics and animation tools to establish an authentic news network approach.

- Watch What You Have won the Best Director and the Best Technical Awards at the Digi60 Filmmakers' Festival in Ottawa. - A technically challenging production that simultaneously consisted of very intricate blocking and choreography within a compact and tight environment. - Production required a high level of leadership, teamwork and coordination in order to achieve a final product of high quality. - Wrote, directed, produced and acted in the short film.

- Participated in a series of workshops instructed and conducted by industry professionals involved in the fields of special effects, lighting, grips and sound. - Fueled my knowledge and gained valuable insight into the aforementioned fields and the film industry as a whole through the instructors’ personal experiences, mistakes and lessons. - Gained further practical experience, having the opportunity to understand and experiment with niche equipment from the respective departments and the responsibilities that come with handling such gear. - Equipment includes, but is not limited to; sound cart, ARRI lights, weapons coordination, pyrotechnics.
