Worked across multiple high-voltage and medium-voltage substations including Safaniyah BSP 380/230 kV, Thuqbah BSP 380/115 kV, Al-Rabie BSP 380/115 kV, and Recreation 115/13.8 kV. Performed testing & commissioning of protection relays, CTs, VTs, MCBs, MCCBs, and circuit breakers. Conducted ACDB & DCDB scheme checks, including auxiliary, trip, interlock, and control circuits. Executed 13.8 kV switchgear scheme checks for protection, control, and metering systems. Completed loop checks, wiring verification, and protection scheme validation. Used the Megger MOM Micro-ohmmeter to measure low-resistance connections in high-current paths (breakers, isolators, busbars). Tested relays and control circuits from ABB, Siemens, ARTECHE, RMS, Eaton, and Schneider Electric using Sverker (Megger). Performed CT testing using CT Analyzer (ratio, polarity, burden,knee-point). Performed Circuit Breaker Contact Resistance Measurement (CRM) tests and timing checks to assess breaker contact condition and operating mechanism performance. Performed SF6 GIS dew-point testing to ensure gas insulation quality and long-term reliability. Diagnosed and resolved issues in protection circuits, wiring errors, and faulty terminations. Prepared detailed testing reports, documented all findings, and raised NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for any deviations, defects, or issues that did not meet SEC specifications or project standards.
