Conducted wet-lab research examining how maternal excess folic acid supplementation in a C57BL/6J mouse model of diabetes in pregnancy (gestational diabetes) influences placental development, vascularization, and maternal metabolism. Executed time-sensitive tissue processing, molecular and biochemical assays, histology, immunohistochemistry, and gene expression analysis within GLP-aligned, SOP-driven laboratory workflows, maintaining full sample traceability and quality documentation. Developed, optimized, and troubleshot experimental protocols and analytical pipelines. Performed statistical and bioinformatic analysis of experimental and gene expression data, supported targeted metabolomics workflows, and communicated findings through a Master's thesis, conference presentations, and scientific reports. Coordinated reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management while collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams in a regulated research environment.
