Research, development and implementation of mathematical and geostatistical models for petroleum reservoir characterization. Simulation and modelling of discrete fracture networks.

Within the scope of numerous projects I was responsible for building and maintaining GIS databases, performing data-mining, classification of remote sensing images (including hyper-spectral), field work and aerial photograph interpretation regarding cartographical tasks, customizing software for data collection in the field. I also participated in projects in which my responsibilities comprised geotechnical stability of rock masses and enabling the use of GIS through the internet, among others.

Sitting at the interface of Reservoir and Petroleum engineering, as a reservoir monitoring engineer my responsibilities include preparation of program and supervision of clean-up and injectivity tests, follow-up of static and flowing pressures, injection water quality assessment and impact on injectivities, interwell and intrawell tracers and viscosification projects.

Responsibilities include reservoir simulation of operated assets, updating reservoir models, history matching, reservoir management, follow-up of EOR (viscosification) projects.
