Helped growth companies accelerate through better use of talent, including organization redesign, leadership assessment, recruiting consulting, and executive search. Now that I'm no longer employed there, I can freely boast that Talentism is an amazingly insightful collection of lovely people who offer transformational value to their clients. Talentism's founder, Jeff Hunter, who was also my manager at Bridgewater Associates, is what I'd sincerely call a "luminary" in the talent space, despite my general distaste for such terms.

Joined an old friend and several Bridgewater alumni to try something exciting. I was responsible for the data powering this early-stage tech product startup in the technical recruiting space. It enabled replacing the inefficient, event-based university recruiting model (career fairs, tech talks) with more effective direct targeting and engagement. We had amazing clients but were ultimately ~6 years too early!

Built out senior management to support the founder succession at the world's largest hedge fund, known for a robust culture and extremely high standards. I mostly worked on leadership recruiting. I'm also proud to have helped launch a Recruiting Research function that grew quite large based on excellent performance metrics. Bridgewater had some amazing talent in recruiting during this era (not to say that's not been the case for other eras).

Executing C-suite searches across functions and industries. Also some marketing, strategy, and client-facing work.

Boutique retained search firm back when the job was 90% cold-calling people on their work lines. Prior to this, I worked in the entertainment industry for a few years, where I started out with an extended stay in the mailroom. I'm grateful for these early and formative work experiences.
