Regina George

Associate Director for International Students @ Princeton University

About

I have 22 years of experience in the field of International Education/Immigration with various universities and professional organizations. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2007. Following 7 years of employment with Southern Miss, I began work as an Immigration Specialist at the INTO University of South Florida intensive English program in Tampa, Florida. Upon returning home to Mississippi, I continued my work with international students at Ole Miss. A move to the University of South Alabama led me to roles as the Manager of Immigration and International Affairs, followed by the Director of Immigration. After a year working remotely for Princeton University Davis International Center, I began the role of Associate Director of the Center for Immigration Services & Support at Wake Forest University. In August 2023, I returned to Princeton University as the Associate Director for International Students. I have been an active member of the Alabama Association of International Educators (AAIE) and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. I have served as the NAFSA Regulatory Ombudsman Subcommittee Past-Chair that liaises with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Previous to that role, I was the NAFSA Region VII Regulatory Ombudsman for Student Issues and Co-Lead "RegBud" to the USCIS Potomac Service Center. I served as the NAFSA Knowledge Community International Student and Scholar Services (KC ISSS) chair-elect, chair, and past-chair from 2022-2025. I have experience presenting at numerous conferences at the state, regional, and national levels. I enjoy traveling abroad and domestically.
