NousQ Pte Ltd is a Singapore start-up company that pivoted in July 2021 to design, develop, manufacture and commercialise medical technology and devices for patients. Prior to that, NousQ's flagship product, CLiKX, was developed with over SGD 5 million in competitive research grant funding from Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR) and National Research Foundation of Singapore. Host institutions were the National University of Singapore and SG Innovate. The company closed its Seed Round of funding of over USD 1.2 million in Oct 2021. The company is raising its Series A round of funding currently in Q3 2022. CLiKX is the world’s first robotic, automated and sensor-controlled hand-held applicator that will revolutionize ventilation ear tube surgery for otitis media with effusion. Unlike current surgeries, CLiKX aims to do away with general anesthesia and the surgical microscope, moving surgeries out of the operating room to an outpatient setting like a clinic. First-in-man pilot clinical trial commenced in 2022 in Singapore.

Negotiating Skills

At United Overseas Bank, was responsible for the business unit focused on the Bank’s key mass affluent retail customer segment. Concurrently headed the bank's Investment Services Unit, which was tasked with developing UOB’s entire suite of wealth management products. Was a key member of the team that managed the integration of Overseas Union Bank following its acquisition by UOB in 2002.

Responsible for the marketing of Dresdner's asset management products and services to all institutional clients in the ASEAN region.

Responsible for promoting the Singapore financial centre and for developing Singapore’s financial infrastructure, including key payments systems such as the wholesale RTGS system, and the USD cheque clearing system in Singapore. Held the appointment of MAS Press Officer from Jan 1995 - Aug 1997, and was also the Staff Assistant to the Managing Director, MAS & Secretary of the MAS Board from Jan 1995 - Dec 1996.
