Design and Engineering: • To review basic design of High and Medium voltage Switchgear and power station in upstream Oil fields and over headlines projects which are basically prepared by Consultant from 6 to 400 kv level according to IPS and IEC standards. • To be part of decision making team for approving planning and job description of upstream oilfield bid/ tender document such as wellhead facilities , CPF ,Pump Stations ,oil pipelines and strategic oil tank farms to be in line with NIOC legislations and based on national profit and cost optimization. • Checking technical aspects of the interconnections to national grid by reviewing the feasibility study prepared by consultant. Estimate and Determine Values: • Surveying and cost estimate for electrical infrastructure required for substation, overhead lines, Oil filed plants and Pump stations in EPC projects. • Surveying and reviewing the plan and profile of transmission line, spotting of terminal towers and also structure list to be in line with the primarily of consultant concept. • Check electrical equipment for wellhead facilities, CPF and FPF area according to basic design and site visit in occasions. • Reviewing electrical contractor claim for change and variant according their EPC contract. Research & Development: • Study and Publication for using hybrid off grid system (PV+BES+DG) to supply electricity required for far- fetch location of wellheads and manifolds in upstream oilfields area.(2018) • Publication of research regarding economical and technical usage of sour gas (H2S spec. with less than 5,000 ppm and before treatment) to harness and use as primary source of energy conversion in diesel engines for generating Electricity in Azar and Changhooleh oil field.(25 MW case study-2018)

• Responsible for Design reviewing of electrical documents designated for planning electrical substation in terms of High voltage, Low voltage ,Control & protection system and telecommunication equipment in Basic and detail basis. • Responsible for Superintendent the execution and installation of substation at Power plants. • Responsible for inspecting all electrical elements which are used in substation at power plants.

• Design reviewing of The Contractor papers for electrical Documents in Power plant and substation section to be in line with specification and Standards.(AC & Dc system, Protection diagrams, Relays configuration) • Consulting and designing to clients in terms of finalizing their basic plans in substation such as single line diagram and layout sections. • Preparing tender documents: price list, guarantee tables, specification of equipment and agreement according to national and international standards. • Attending at contractor and client meetings to solve their finance and technical issues. • Supervising at substation documents which are designated for protection purpose. • Reviewing contractor documents: lighting drawings, HVAC plans, Socket plans, paging system, Cable and conduit rout plans, load list, BOP system study coordination, MV & LV relay setting and configuration, signaling between power plant and substation.

• Prepares scope of work for external consultants and EPC contractors for the execution. • Reviews the design works and studies performed by the Engineering Consultants and ensure that they are in accordance with the technical requirements and meet the standards. • Reviews and approves drawings and technical documents for all Electrical Design related works. • Participates in the technical evaluation of tenders and issuance of recommendations. • Provides technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications. • Performs Participates in Layout, Design and technical workshops • Ensures that the state-of-art technology is applied throughout the engineering phase for cost effective solutions and application of value added engineering throughout the assigned works. • Provides input/update Engineering Procedures, Company standards, Technical Specifications, Design Philosophies and Engineering Guidelines. • Participates in site surveys of Company facilities to establish and identify actual requirements. • Provides technical assistance, coordination and liaison with other discipline engineers within the Company and other business units to acquire technical and general requirements, and manage interfaces. • Reviews Design Basis, Philosophies and Specifications related to Electrical Engineering. • preparing technical inspection in commissioning and procurement procedures • Designing protection and control single line diagram, outdoor layout and section plans, and the signal list. • Reducing operating cost, improving efficiency and increasing profit • Monitoring and supervising the site activities to ensure about meeting the safety regulation and protective control requirements in EPC projects. • Attending in coordination meetings in presence of the client and other engineering departments. • Supervising and participating at test and commissioning procedure by primary, Secondary, Power Transformer, and Switch gear Routine Tests

My duties in 20/33/63/132/230/400kV Substations: • Configuration and Setting of Protection Relays such as combination distance relay 21 ANSI, Differential relays 87 ANSI, OC/EF 50/51 ANSI • Design schematic and basic plans of protection and Control system for Over-Headlines, Transformers, Bus bars, Reactors, Capacitors, and DCS system. • Design Logic diagram of opening and closing circuit breakers, trip tables • High Voltage System calculation and Ordering • Switchgear Layout and Sections • Cable Calculations (HV, MV) and Ordering • Battery & Battery Charger Calculation and Ordering • LVAC &LVDC Panels Calculation and Ordering • Tender technical issues and reviewing guarantee tables and provide a best target price

• Participating in design of control and protection schematic plans for producing electrical board using in the substation with the varied rang of voltage such as 33,132,230 kv • Test & commissioning protective and control instruments classified with distance, differential, over current and earth fault and etc. ability of understanding protection system which were defined in accordance with the basic protection diagrams.( the relays manufactured are named as ALSTOM ,AREVA, SIEMENS,A.B.B • Provision of details drawings and related technical specifications an • Testing protection relays by Omicron 256 & 156 in the factory and prepare the test report accordingly based on the acceptable set points. • Identifying the design criteria and standards and designing and defining the cable schedule and sizing • Checking daily work progress and arranging testing process as Q.C. supervisor
