Provide support to the Memphis manufacturing facility by managing recruiting for site salaried and hourly roles. Increase opportunities for employee relations through employee initiatives and drives. Establish and continuously improve the Memphis internship program and foster relationships with local colleges and universities. Establish and lead the Sustainability Pillar for the site and assist with various safety and quality needs as business needs dictate.

Filled delivery orders and operated fork trucks to store product in warehouse racking systems and load / unload over-the-road trucks for shipment. Completed daily operational safety inspections on fork trucks.

Work with troubled youth in at-risk homes helping them transition to independence by teaching them life skills such as budgeting, job seeking, and resume building. Duties include creating individualized budgets for each client, assisting clients in reaching career and education aspirations, mentoring and supervising living skills, listening and assisting with day to day issues, and managing financial accounts for each client.

Responsible for managing technicians and shift teams in the Jelly Processing Department. Support overall plant daily production efforts. Provide leadership and direction to Safety, Quality, PR and HR related issues. Deliver team results and manage monthly scorecard and quarterly meetings. Support QA and HS&E systems. Ensure that quality issues are reported to management immediately. Work closely with Operations Manager / Logistics Manager on production schedule. Ensure appropriate staffing of the technician team. Lead overall plant daily production efforts by driving Key Factor results and facilitating organizational development. Aid in coaching and developing team leaders. Support HS&E improvements and systems. Assist E&T Pillar in building the technical skill level of technicians. Drive major breakdowns to zero. Identify and recommend relevant improvement opportunities at facility and to internal JMS processes.
