Where a project management office (PMO) does not exist, I set up the PMO to: • Managing and monitoring the performance of the (Operation and maintenance department) projects technically and financially. • Following-up the (Operation and maintenance department) projects with several ministries and governmental agencies such as: o The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. o The Ministry of Economy and Planning. o Riyadh Development Authority. o The Royal Court.

• Working with the Development planning ministry Agency to execute and supervise applying new preventive maintenance system over 19 projects in Riyadh region. Where I: Planned applying the new system over the 19 projects. Presented the work plan to the sites managers. Executed, Supervised documenting and building up the list of all the ministry assets over 19 water purification and treatment stations. Consolidated the maintenance procedures and forms (Yearly Preventive maintenance plan, Job orders and History cards) over all the sites. Assigned and led the maintenance engineers to collect the standard maintenance procedures for their stations assets. Scheduled a non-announced monthly visits to the sites to assure the commitment of contractors. Quarterly meeting with the minister of water and electricity and the undersecretary of the development planning ministry agency to present the progress of implementing the Preventive maintenance project. • Monitoring the contractor’s progress and performance to ensure the site and production quality conform to the contract requirements. • Authorizing payments consistent with the contract terms. • Performing contracts penalties, where a contractor’s performance is deficient. • Approving the site manager and the teamwork according to their qualifications and experiences. • Meeting with the contractor on a regular basis to review progress, discuss problems and consider necessary changes. • Scheduled a non-announced monthly visits to the sites to assure the commitment of contractors. • Working with the other contracts managers Identify potential problems and solutions. • Working with the other contracts managers to improve the contracts decisions, modifications and the estimating the cost of the new contracts. • Yearly reporting the forecasting quantities of water needed according to Saudi Arabia census of population. • Perform a monthly visits to the sites to assure the commitment of contractors.
