VERITAS Design Group (VDG) is one of the best and largest architectural design firms in ASEAN countries with 350 staff members in 3 offices in Malaysia and 9 international offices, providing services in architecture, interior design, planning, landscape design, environmental consulting, quantity survey and project management, currently in 34 countries. VERITAS Japan LLC is its expansion to serve the Japan market and Japanese clients overseas, taking over the architectural services and the portfolio of Quincy Studio Inc. below. With this new affiliation with VDG, we are better able to serve the needs of Japanese clients building in ASEAN and other countries, and international clients entering the Japanese markets. Of course domestic clients and projects remain the key collaborators in our efforts to "Improve the Built Environment for the Advancement of the Humankind".

Quincy Studio Inc. (QSI) has served Japanese as well as international clients in the past 16 years to help them achieve their architectural and/or business goals in their building projects. QSI, as a cross-border architectural consulting firm has provided design & advisory and project management services in an international context, geared towards Japanese clients with overseas projects and international clients working on architectural projects in Japan. This expertise, as well as the portfolio of the past 16 years; i.e., experiences of working with other architects, consultants, contractors and more interestingly different background situations of clients that influenced their decision making, are now being transferred to VERITAS Japan LLC. QSI in the meantime will focus more on translation (architecture, engineering, real estate businesses, and others) and education / training aspects of design in general. 株式会社クインシースタジオは16年間にわたり日本及び諸外国のお客様が自社の建設案件に際して建築的またはビジネス上の目的をかなえるために支援業務を提供してまいりました。国や文化の違いを超えて事業を組み立て成功に導くための、デザイン（設計を提案したり評価する力）、PM（チーム能力を最大化する力）、コミュニケーション能力（言葉や文化の違いを飛び越える力）等、クインシースタジオが持つ専門能力は、国境を越えたビジネスチャンス、イノベーション、専門知識や技術をお客様のビジネスに生かすために役立ってきたと思います。 この専門能力と、16年間の実績、すなわち他の建築家、コンサルタント、施工会社、そしてお施主様が直面していたプロジェクトを進行させるうえで影響があった様々な背景事情などから学んだ経験を持つクインシースタジオの建築部門を、この度VERITAS Japan 合同会社として分社いたします。 日本国内のプロジェクトではこれまで同様にデザインとPMの業務をご提供いたしますが、ASEAN諸国でトップ10位に入るVERITAS Design Group（VDG：本社クアラルンプール）のインテリア、ランドスケープ、環境性能等、専門業務も効率よくご提供することが出来ます。またVDGのグローバルネットワークに参加することで、国境を越えて活躍される企業に提供できる業務の幅を厚くすることも意図しています。 なお、クインシースタジオではこれまでもご愛顧いただいた翻訳（建築、エンジニアリング、不動産関連など）および設計やデザインに関連した教育・研修等の業務は引き続き提供してまいります。

The RTKL Tokyo office was primarily positioned to project mangage retail/entertainment (shopping centers, outlet centers) and healthcare (acute care, rehabilitation hospitals) projects in Japan designed by its US design teams in Dallas, TX, Baltimore, MD, Los Angeles, CA, and others. Occasionally, however, we handled smaller scale projects on our own with our local design team. I oversaw the Japan operation in the last three years working on regional shopping centers and hospitals while designing (architecture / interior) a 2,300 sqm wind-mill company headquarters / dormitory.

TrizecHahn was in Japan briefly at the end of the 20c, engaged in two regional shopping center development projects. As Director of Development, I managed the architectural design and engineering work by outside professionals for both projects.

As an outpost in Tokyo of the KPF design teams, I worked closely with the local architects and developers, most notably for Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, and JR Central Towers projects throughout the SD and DD phases of architectural design.

For 6 years in NYC, I worked for KPF on several corporate projects in Boston, NYC and other cities including the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC. Towards the latter half of my stay in NYC, I worked on JR Central Towers, Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, as well as Shanghai World Financial Center as a designer, while helping the management and the designers communicate with the clients and potential clients in Japan. In the last year of my tenure, I was promoted to Associate Partner, and qualified for the architectural license of the State of New York.
