Mr. Yanagi is a long term employee of the Toda Group having joined in April 2001 following his graduation from Tohoku University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Mr. Yanagi has served the Toda Group since April 2001 except for a brief period of employment with Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. from September 2017 to July 2019. Mr. Yanagi is currently employed by Toda in the supervisory position of Manager, Overseas Investment Promotion Section, Strategic Business Promotion Division. In this role, he maintains principal responsibility and executive authority over real estate investment projects, with a key focus on the ASEAN and OCEANIA regions. He reviews, analyzes, and executes various overseas real estate investment projects, managing outside third party professional organizations to accomplish and executive investment plans. He is also responsible for integrating acquired entities into Toda’s global organization and provides on-going technical accounting and legal support to ensure compliance with Group policies. He also provides on-going support to overseas subsidiaries in the area of operations, including development of operational plans for acquired real estate rental properties. In this position, he is also responsible for serving in an executive capacity responsible for Toda’s supervision of Toda America’s real estate operations, including making policies, decisions and strategic plans for the company’s on-going and future operations. He works closely with Toda America’s outside accountants to manage yearly and quarterly financial statements, processing of outstanding payments, monthly withholding of taxes for independent contractors, and providing guidance to Toda’s Board of Directors as it makes decisions on Toda America’s on-going operations and future investment decisions.
