Essen Medical Associates is the one of the largest privately owned provider-owned and patient-focused multi-specialty fully integrated health care delivery network in New York City. Over 250 Essen providers serve communities and over 54 locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Long Island, Staten Island, and Westchester County. Reporting to the CEO, I delivered on Essen’s vision, mission, and the hyper growth strategy. • Accountable for all aspects of IT at Essen, including, the design, planning, and implementation of technology and cybersecurity strategy, organization management, project portfolio management, IT budget, and overall IT operations. • Transformed Essen’s disparate legacy infrastructure into scalable, secure, robust, and enterprise level IT infrastructure with centralized oversight and controls to support business growth. • Developed and implemented a robust cybersecurity strategy to safeguard Essen’s digital assets and mitigate cyber threats. Led the implementation of an XDR, and implemented policies, procedures, and controls for SOC II, HIPAA, and HITRUST certification. • Led the optimization of management processes to procure, deploy, monitor, secure, and maintain enterprise technology.

Proven record and demonstrated leadership development skills while hiring, training, and leading a team of professionals to operate the largest CMS approved qualified clinical data registries (QCDR) and enterprise clinical quality programs. I am also delivering leadership in building and managing several teams, including the clinical quality program management, decision support services, and the PQR QCDR teams. I am overseeing setup of the startup LLC and operations of one of the largest CMS approved qualified clinical data registries (QCDR) since 2018 (The Physicians Quality Registry), including leading initiative to setup the enterprise quality data foundation and warehouse. I am providing directional leadership to the PMO and portfolio of enterprise clinical quality programs, including leading decision support services (DSS) group for regulatory and contractual reporting of clinical quality, operational and financial KPIs. I have some key contributions including: • Managed all aspects of the registry operations. Performed responsibilities of Chief Operations Officer of the largest CMS approved Qualified Clinical Data Registry. • Led the execution of the program to operationalize three quality data abstraction centers offshore, including negotiating contracts with three vendors to hire, train, and manage 750+ qualified coders to abstract quality related data from over 20M charts, resulting in an additional $12M to $15M payment incentives. • Achieved $54M to $63M per year on Medicare reimbursements while ensuring regulatory compliance and clinical quality data reporting for 30,000 clinicians. • Successfully managed resources under an operational budget of over $12M to $15M annually. • Developed Quality Data Repository (QDR) data platform for contractual reporting to 1,500+ hospitals and practices, regulatory reporting to CMS, and managed care payor contract negotiation on behalf of 30,000 clinicians.

Provided consultative support in devising and implementing multi-year strategic plans for growth and restructuring of the organization, including driving successful implementation of large strategic initiatives by designing hospital portfolios. Orchestrated Healthcare IT consulting services, such as clinical application design, architecture, integration and modernization. Handled all the work of databases, servers, systems engineering, and clients, including back-end/front-end programming, UI styling and UX designing, database design, modeling, configuration, and cloud base deployment. Developed data visualization for hospital perioperative systems data for evidence based business process optimization, including conducting advanced statistical analysis. I have some key contributions including: • Displayed a high level of technical competence in designing and developing surgical services workflow optimization software products (OROptimizer© and ORVisualizer©), including providing consulting services for product implementation. • Developed a product to support healthcare workers at athletic events by partnering with Rapid5MRS, LLC. • Developed Lean Six Sigma training programs for hospital perioperative services staff and clinicians, including developing process reengineering for surgical services and change management for adoption. • Successfully completed the assessment of surgical services operations and preparedness for CMS' HVBP and BPCI initiatives using proprietary checklists and data analytics. • Delivered management consulting services to leadership teams at over 10 hospitals and healthcare systems by collaborating with Optilign Health. • Played a key role in developing and implementing multi-year strategic and financial plans to prioritize, manage and control the execution of strategic initiatives portfolio of $79M.

Established certified centers of excellence for orthopedic perioperative services by completing gap assessment in strategic operational and financial planning, and capital management. Headed perioperative workflow optimization efforts while managing a team of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts. I have some key contributions including: • Performed the responsibilities of Chief Technology Officer. • Led the development of various service products for the SPS division • Drove revenue growth by $22M in three years by developing and executing orthopedic service line optimization program (OSLO) for a startup services division Stryker Performance Solutions (SPS). • Optimized patient flow, information flow and materials flow through the continuum of care by developing Lean workflow solutions for hospitals and physician practices. • Provided technical support for smooth and quick integration of acquisitions of Marshall|Steele Associates and Comprehensive Care Solutions into SPS.

•Program Management Office (PMO): Established all aspects of IT-PMO for all strategic projects for Ryder’s largest $4.1 billion Fleet Management division, including all PMO processes and continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs. Successfully managed a large project portfolio of strategic projects with an aggregate portfolio value of active projects managed of $25 million to $30 million and a pipeline of approved projects worth $65 million - $90 million •Application Development: Designed and managed the development of a modernization project using service-oriented architecture (SOA) to transforms maintenance operations in 800 shops across US, Canada, and Mexico.
