About
Driven by a strong passion for pushing the boundaries of science, I have made significant contributions to the areas of focus at the Weizmann and Stanford labs where I have worked. My expertise lies in data mining to identify novel biology. My findings in the field of bacterial defense systems against phages served as a foundation for subsequent discoveries in the Sorek lab, while my large-scale study, which identified small protein-coding genes encoded by the human microbiome, opened new frontiers in microbiome research. Currently, as a Research Unit Leader at BiomX, a cutting edge phage therapy company, I am further developing my leadership skills and deepening my understanding of how to translate innovative basic research into actual therapies.
