- involved in the design and engineering of the control systems for the desalination plant, work closely with process engineers to understand the requirements and translate them into functional control system designs. - responsible for selecting the appropriate instruments for measuring and monitoring parameters such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, salinity, and pH levels, consider factors such as accuracy, reliability, and compatibility with the process and control system. - Approbation & verification of the control logic for the desalination plant. This involves verification code or configuring programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), or other control platforms, ensure that the control system operates within specified parameters and performs critical functions such as regulating flow rates, managing pressure, and controlling chemical dosing. - play a key role in commissioning and testing the control systems in the desalination plant, verify the functionality of instruments, calibrate sensors, test control loops, and ensure proper integration and communication between different components of the control system. - responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in the control systems, diagnose and rectify faults, perform maintenance tasks, and optimize the performance of the control system. This includes identifying and addressing instrument failures, control loop tuning, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies. - ensure that the control systems in the desalination plant meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.

- Assisting for all the Tests with Algerian Regulation Hydrocarbure for Electrcial & Instrumentation Equipment’s & cables HT & MT to obtain autorisation of energization of Sub-stations & Gaz in for the plant - Participate in Site Installation Tests (SIT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and approving check sheet of various components of Integrated Process Control & Safety Systems; DCS, ESD, UPS, Fire & Gas, MCMS, HVAC, Analyzer and Communication system cabinets & consoles. - witnessing in Calibration, Installation, Loop Checking & Functional Tests of Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level instruments, Analyzers, Control / On-Off Valves, Fire & Gas Instruments, etc. - Cable Routing, Laying, Segregation, Sealing, Termination & Grounding Insulation Resistance & Continuity tests, OTDR Tests (FOC) - Installation and integrity, installation of DCS/ICSS and other equipment, mechanical completion checks) are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications and applicable international code and standards - Reviewing Mechanical Completion,RFC ,RFSU Dossiers, As-built drawings and Instrument Loop test Packages, - Efficiently issued Non-Conformance & Site Inspection Reports for non-compliance activities against the approved quality procedures, inspection test plans, codes & standards and closed out on satisfactory corrective / preventive actions - Witnessing any construction and pre-commissioning tests and endorsing (verifying and signing) the relevant quality check sheets, as required by Quality Control Plan - Assuring instrument and Electrical works punch lists are properly detected, integrated within the mechanical Completion master punch list and cleared - Holds the credit of representing the company in final walkthrough, Generation of Punch lists, expedite timely close out as per A, B and C categories. - Witness for all tests cause & effect matrix / logic tests / control narrative of ESD / F&GS /FACP / HVAC

- Installation, configuration on server’s consoles and flex stations - Installation Experion patches and Microsoft updates R511.13 - troubleshooting Experion PKS system. - Backup and restore databases ERDB, EMDB, QDB and other configuration files - Backup, testing and restore servers’ system with Acronis backup and recovery. - Testing HMI-Web displays and fix problems - Supervision of Installation of new Orion consoles - Connecting and testing MAU and LCN TDC3000 to the new consoles

- Ensure the supervision of electrical / cathodic protection inspection activities and verify Quality Control Plans implementation - Check Quality Control Plans with reference to electrical / cathodic protection activities - Check the availability and adequacy of consumable and equipment - Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified and traceable - Support and check the evaluation of the qualification of inspection personnel in charge of works, verify work procedures including those relating to special processes - Support the definition of QC Information System rules - Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records - Definition of Material and determine Environmental conditions - Determination of the sacrificial anode quantities / location / material (Al /Zn / Mg) for the design life of the structure. - Determination of the impressed current system size regarding the DC source and it’s associated anode ground bed - Commissioning and start-up operation. - Management of CP site survey subcontractor on site.

- Supervising of erection works, precom & commissioning tests of the electrical Over-Head line30 KV technical 60kv with ARH authorities & Client - supervising of erection works including precom & commissioning tests of sub-stations 30 KV& 5.5 KV with ARH authorities & Client - supervising and assist of all precom & commissioning tests (hi-pot test, Megger, insulation tests for cables of equipment’s inside sub-stations 30& 5.5 KV, hi-pot test & megger & leakage test for bus-bars 30& 5.5 KV ,switchgear MT/BT, Circuit Breaker, transformers 30 /5.5 kva ,transformer 5.5k /0.4kva, motors 5.5kv ,auto-tranformers ,CT & TP tests protection relay tests, surge arrestor tests , capacitor bank tests , with vendors teams & ARH Authorities) - Reviewing Sub-Contractors Contractual obligations, QA/QC plans and procedures to verify if they comply with Contractor’s Contractual conditions. - Raising inspections of the works and material delivered at site is as per the Inspection Test Plan. Guide & direct site engineers and Supervisor, as applicable to ensure that PROJECT deliverables fully reflect QA/QC requirements and other specific guidelines set by Company. - Study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs. - Review Inspection and Test Plans in order to perform all required inspections and witnessing all required tests and add witness and hold points for the Client’s Inspection. - Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control carried out on completed and running Project activities. - Review Client’s Inspectors deliverables, analyse and resolve issues and problems emerging during the Quality Control activities. Ensure that all inspection and tests witnessed by clients are recorded and documented and are reviewed and signed.

- Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). - Oversaw the installation & testing of Electrical / Pneumatic Hook-Ups: Cable Routing, Laying (MV, LV, instrumentation), Segregation, Sealing, Termination & Grounding Insulation Resistance & Continuity, Hi-Potential tests, OTDR Tests (FOC) Installation inspection of Power Transformer, Lighting, earthing, tracing systems, LV & MV Motors, Cathodic Protection - Monitoring contractor’s installation work at site as per standards, ITPS, project specs. Inspection in Hazardous (zone-0, 1, 2) & Safe areas included detailed inspection of all EEX Certified equipment. - Review field quality control procedure, reports for inspection work involved as per their procedure & specification for inspection of material’s, inspection of installation & testing of electrical motors, glanding, cable meggering, earthing ,conduit installation check, wire pulling check, terminations ,support installation , conduits, panel, d.board, j. box installation inspection Wiring & erection , - Inspection of installation of Cathodic protection anode and cathode electrodes and its cabling and testing installed for vessels U/G & A/G pipe lines, vessels etc. - Periodic Inspection of certified equipments to be installed as per required, zones. - Periodic inspection of Earthing like IS earth , Clean earth , Dirty earth , earth boss and earthing bar. - Witness meggering of HV ,MV,LV cables Hi Pot test ,SAT ,insulation resist test , pre comm. of MCC, - Inspection of all site acceptance tests conducting on site as per schedule and standards and approving check sheet of various components of Integrated Process Control & Safety Systems; DCS, ESD, UPS, Fire & Gas, MCMS, HVAC, Analyzer and Communication system cabinets & consoles. - Generate punch list items for the work deviation against standard installation practice.

-Monitor execution of day to day construction activities including electrical and instrumentation installation works -Calibration ,loop check , function test ,Installation , inspection and configuration of all instruments (Transmitters, control , shutdown & Safety valves, gauges and switches etc.) by Hart communicator and all other calibrator devices. -Perform all the Commissioning & power up activities and ensure handover the system to the operation -Solve problemes in Foundation Field-bus experience and familiarisation with Valve link and Field-mate Software . -Supervise loop check group, DCS operator and field technician perform by subcontractor and verify that the work is done as per procedure and good industry practices within the required quality level, organize work activities to meet mile stone and project completion; Review and check of Instrument Loop Diagram, DCS graphic functions and coordinate with the Instrument Engineer and vendor Supervisor in any discrepancies for corrective action. -Pre commissioning of instrument, calibration and isolation of instrument for preparation of leak test, pressure testing and start-up and other activities, troubleshooting and repair. - Oversee subcontractor instrument calibration, installation and verification test for acceptance. - Supervise subcontractor instrument technician in cold loop checking, switches, solenoid, control valve including push button and DCS to MCC interface signal from Marshalling Cabinet, Junction Box to field device and ensure that all connections, cable markers and data sheets are correct and meet the standard drawing and company specifications. -Inspection of installation of Cathodic protection anode and cathode electrodes and its cabling and testing , installed for topside project vessel & Pipe Line. - Inspection of SCADA system installation its cabling , DCS cabinet installation its cabling - Witnessing of installtion of Gas / Heat detectors and its Cause and effects through SCADA.
