We architect scalable digital backbones leveraging FTTO architectures, Wi-Fi 7 environments, and next-generation AI-powered security frameworks. I took charge of establishing and launching the Fixed Technical Operations division at Orange Maroc in January 2017 as a key objective of the rebranding campaign towards Orange in December 2016. Notable accomplishments during this period include : ➢ FTTH: I led the creation, streamlining and upscaling of an end-to-end FTTH ecosystem in Morocco (including design services, civil engineering contractors, optical cable and microtube manufacturers, client connectivity services, after-sales service providers, and asset management). This program was the main driver of 2018-2021 strategic plan and has placed Orange as FTTH country leader with more than 1,2M home passed and 2 Ookla awards for fastest network. ➢ B2B & Wholesale: I established a dynamic think-build-run organization to directly support the B2B and Wholesale business segments. Since 2017, we have achieved a steady YoY growth rate of 30% in signed and invoiced revenue and by 2021 was contributing 20% to total company turnover.

During this period, I successfully initiated and executed a transformation program aimed at optimizing maintenance activities and field operations. The primary focus was on cost reduction while enhancing the overall availability of networks and services. Key achievements include: ➢ ANO Program (AMEA Network Optimization): I oversaw the implementation of this program, involving the outsourcing of 50% of Orange Maroc's mobile and fixed network operations to managed service providers. This strategic move maximized operational efficiency and shifted performance metrics from standard SLA to overall service availability while flat-feeing the TCO. ➢ Energy Efficiency Initiatives: I pioneered the establishment of an energy efficiency division, resulting in a remarkable 17% reduction in energy consumption during the first two years. This translated into substantial savings on the overall energy bill, totaling 9M USD. ➢ National Electrification Program: I led a national program aimed at eliminating sites powered by permanent generators, driving the transition to more sustainable energy sources. This initiative led to annual savings of 4M USD.

As the Director of Strategy & Performance, I spearheaded a transformation program for the Orange Maroc mobile network, optimizing deployment costs and preparing for the introduction of 4G technology. A notable achievement during this period includes: ➢ RAN Renewal Project: I initiated and oversaw the RAN Renewal project, collaborating with Group Sourcing to select the final supplier. This groundbreaking project enabled Orange Maroc to transition to a Single RAN solution covering 100% of the territory, setting the stage for pre-4G capabilities.

As the Director of Radio Network, I spearheaded the deployment of mobile network coverage in alignment with commitments made to the regulator and commercial objectives, while driving a technological revolution in the 3G domain. Key accomplishments include : ➢ 3G Generalization: I played a pivotal role in the widespread adoption of 3G technology, replacing the outdated EDGE infrastructure. This strategic move allowed Orange Maroc to offer improved data speeds and enhanced user experiences across the network. ➢ HSPA Deployment on 3G: I oversaw the rollout of High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) technology on the 3G network to meet the growing demand for high-speed data services. ➢ TDM to IP Migration: I successfully led a program to migrate the radio transmission network from traditional TDM technology to IP, resulting in improved efficiency and performance.

During this period, I played a pivotal role in driving various technical projects across the organization, reporting directly to the Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO). Noteworthy contributions include : ➢ GPRS Deployment Task Force: I provided strong leadership as the head of the task force responsible for deploying GPRS technology in 2004. ➢ Technical Lead for License Bids: I assumed the technical lead role for the bid teams during the license bidding processes. Notably, I contributed to securing the fixed license in 2005, recommending the adoption of IMS & WiMAX technologies and formulating a strategic spectrum plan for the 3.5 GHz band. Additionally, I played a crucial role in the successful bid for the 3G license in 2006.
