My name is Nick Hess, I'm a software developer in New York City specializing in Javascript and Python based tech stacks. I am currently a full-time software engineer at Capital One. In the past, I have worked at JPMorgan Chase on the Chase website and app to build scalable software solutions for over 30 million active users. I have also developed software for MHA-NYC, a nonprofit organization addressing mental health needs both nationally and within New York City, and before that for Spotible Inc., where my work appeared on high traffic websites including New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Time. I am available for freelance work.
