I work with individuals, families, and business owners to reduce their financial risk and plan for the future. The goal: To simplify and demystify the financial world for my clients so they can make better, more educated decisions. Through a holistic approach, I focus on helping clients with their investment and risk management, retirement needs, and estate conservation strategies. I do this by creating a team that includes professionals across disciplines, such as accountants, attorneys, valuation experts, and bankers, enabling me to develop a customized strategy that is aligned with my clients’ financial goals. The cornerstone of my practice is my commitment to giving you the knowledge and information you need to make decisions with confidence. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation and have been in the financial services industry since January of 2007. I work closely with corporate executives, small business owners, foundations, endowments, and institutions. Before joining Barnum, I worked as a Senior Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, I served as Vice President at JP Morgan and Smith Barney, with a focus on asset management and client acquisition. Before making my transition into financial services, I spent 20 years working in my family’s retail sales and real estate management business in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and now serve on CCU’s Wall School of Business Board of Visitors. I am an avid traveler and photographer, and recently shot the countryside of Guatemala and Panama. I currently reside in Manhattan.
