A. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Lead the design and implementation of the project's Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework in alignment with the project's Terms of Reference/Work plan Develop/Track data collection tools, indicators, and reporting templates to ensure accurate tracking of project performance Coordinate routine data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting across all implementation sites Conduct supportive supervision, data quality assessments (DQAs), Integrated Monitoring and Supervisory Visits (IMSV) and Monthly Data Validation and other supervisory visits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability Maintain and manage project databases, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility. B. Data Analysis, Learning, and Reporting. Analyse program data to generate actionable insights for decision-making and adaptive program management Prepare and submit timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with organisational and donor requirements Develop dashboards, presentations, and data visualisation products for internal and external stakeholders Document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories to support knowledge management and program improvement. C. Program Implementation (Program Officer Role) Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of malaria prevention and treatment activities across the project areas Collaborate with program teams to ensure data-driven planning, target setting, and performance tracking Participate in stakeholder engagement meetings, technical working groups, and program review sessions Monitor project progress against work plans, budgets, and timelines, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Utilize SORMAS for case investigation, contact tracing, and sample collection reporting · Apply Project Management principles to coordinate partner engagement at the State Public Health Emergency Operations Centre (PHEOC) · Conduct bi-annual appraisals of state disease surveillance activities and provide feedback to the State Epidemiologist · Strengthen LGA surveillance teams through training in epidemic-prone disease detection, data management, and rapid response · Undertake regular field supervisory visits to assess surveillance implementation, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions · Ensure timely access and use of surveillance data for informed decision-making · Participate in weekly state technical team coordination meetings · Support monthly state coordination and review meetings for health emergencies Conduct basic epidemiological analysis to guide state response · Collate IDSR (Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response) data
