• Report to the Project Manager, being responsible for coordinating the engineering activities in close cooperation with the operations team in supervising the adaptation of the FPSO of the Early Production System(EPS) chartered from Teekay. • Gave support during the bidding process and monitored the development of the engineering department for the production of heavy oil (13° API) and the construction activities carried out in Rotterdam (Netherlands) at the Damen shipyard until the start of the operation of FPSO Petrojarl 1 at the EPS of Atlanta, Santos Basin. • Coordination of technical interfaces with the Subsea area and with Genesis Oil & Gas (UK). • Revision of technical documents and negotiation of the scope of changes within the original cost expected. • Interface with Brazilian government authorities (ANP and IBAMA). • Coordinate the R&D project with UFRJ/COPPE for developing a cyclonic valve.

• EBX group shipbuilding company, managing a project of 2 Drilling Package Units at a value of US$ 200 million. One of them was later purchased by Equinor for the expansion of Peregrino field. • Reported to the Project Manager and was responsible for Engineering, Construction, and Assembly Management of two Drilling Packages for Well Head Platforms (WHPs) in Grimstad, Norway in compliance with all the cost and time-frame requirements. • Managed 6 persons and the interfaces between Drilling Packages and WHPs, minimizing project costs. • Negotiations with the suppliers Cameron, SIEMENS, NYMO, and MI-SWACO of all the changes in scope requested by the customer with no impact on the deadline.

• Coordinated the bidding process of the project, construction, and assembly of the Pipelines for Phase 1 of the Petrochemical Complex of Rio de Janeiro (COMPERJ).

• American start-up company created for manufacturing 2nd generation biofuels, it was founded by Khosla Ventures and Bioecon and had a NASDAQ IPO in 2011 with a value of US$ 1.5 billion. • Developed and installed a lab for catalytic pyrolysis testing. • Participation in selecting the site for the company's headquarters in Houston, Texas, which also included the installation and operation of research equipment; manager of 2 professionals. • Coordinated projects with research institutes in Greece, The Netherlands, and Spain, reporting the results at all levels.

• Was part of the team that initiated the original venture of the Petrochemical Complex of Rio de Janeiro (COMPERJ) with refining, 1st and 2nd generation petrochemical units, coordinating the strategy for selecting and contracting the technologies. • Selected, negotiated, and contracted technologies related to catalytic reforming, steam cracking, hydrotreatments, hydrocracking, aromatic complex, and butadiene extraction in record time, meeting all Petrobras’ requirements and helping the re-structuring of the national petrochemical industry. • Coordinated several multidisciplinary working groups with professionals from technical, business, contractual, legal, and accounting areas.

• Inventor of several innovative projects patented and commercially implemented in Petrobras refineries such as FCC feedstock segregation with gains US$ 4.3 million/year at the FCC 1 of REGAP and Flushing for RFCC implemented at RECAP and RLAM with US$ 0.5 million/year gains. • Was a member of this newly created group for developing Brazilian Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) technology. • Was a researcher in the area of FCC Technology with a fundamental participation in several projects commercially implemented in different Petrobras refineries: Development of FCC stripperFeedstock segregation, Development of Pd-based combustion Promotor additive marketed by FCC S.A., Optimization of the Flushing System for Resid FCC units, and optimization of the ZSM-5 based additive for the production of light olefins. • Evaluated several catalysts and additives in the laboratory, pilot plant, and at the industrial units. • Contracted and coordinated research projects with several Brazilian (UFRJ, USP, UNICAMP, UFMG, and UFRGS) and foreign Universities: Politècnica de València e del País Vasco (Spain), Central de Venezuela, Université de Poitiers (France), and Technische Universität München (Germany).
