This foundation was further strengthened by hands-on internships, including a role at Narasimha Constructions, where I worked on a two-laning road project. There, I gained practical exposure to site grading, stormwater design, erosion control, and drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Professionally, I served as a faculty member in Civil Engineering at Sree Gagana Educational Society, where I taught over 100 students and helped improve academic performance through dedicated mentoring and structured lesson plans. This role honed my communication, leadership, and organizational skills. At Florida Tech, I have been actively involved in laboratory work and field testing, performing soil tests such as sieve analysis, hydrometer tests, Atterberg limits, and triaxial shear tests, among others. I have also gained exposure to advanced construction topics including cost engineering, equipment management, safety, and renewable energy principles. I am proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, PLAXIS, GeoStudio, and Microsoft Office Suite, and I hold certifications including the OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health and Quantity Surveying & Estimation.
