I research at the intersection of high-throughput materials science and data science to discover improved materials that alter how renewable energy is produced, stored and consumed. As time is running out, we need better materials and we needed them yesterday. This requires a paradigm shift in how we do science without sacrificing quality and in-depth knowledge generation for quantity and performance. I believe that the time to market for new materials can be drastically shorted with rapid automatization, rigorous digitalization, and the use well-designed algorithms. Currently working mostly on batteries and catalysts.
