Pigment Productions is a Greeting Card publishing company based in Harrogate. I worked in almost all areas of the business as it grew, chiefly putting to use my excellent office skills and my experience in both sales and marketing. My most recent role was supporting the Sales Director, independently managing the company's overseas customer base. I was responsible for ensuring customers were made aware of and kept up to date with all new product as it was released, as well as overseeing junior staff to ensure the smooth processing of orders at every stage, from inception to completion.

I began my career with Kleinwort Benson as Personal Assistant to the northern Sales Director and my duties included complex diary management, accompanying to client meetings, both internal and external, along with general secretarial and administrative support. I was promoted several times during my 11 year career within the Lease Finance sector of the bank, latterly given more responsibility to work independently in a sales-based role, responsible for following up on sales enquiries, dealing with customers at a high level of authority and following through to ensure the smooth completion of transactions.

Secretary to the French Marketing Director of a commodity trading company, based in Victoria, London. My main duties were general secretarial ones, including correspondence, organising and attending meetings, making travel and hotel bookings and dealing with customers over the telephone, all in both English and French.

Established in 2003 and based in their own purpose-built offices just outside Harrogate, North Yorkshire, offering design-led technology for homes, offices, hotels, retail and leisure environments. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, my role was vital to the smooth and timely delivery of projects to our clients. In charge of invoicing and sales order processing, hotel and travel booking, general office administration, organising and attending exhibitions, marketing and sales. In a short space of time I made a significant impact on improving the efficiency of the company's systems and processes.
