* Maintaining the purchase ledger, issuing purchase order numbers, raising disputes, completing the monthly cheque run, opening accounts, agreeing terms with suppliers, reconciling statements. * Completing the month end accounts for the company accountant. * Producing Management Accounts for the weekly directors meetings. * Payroll for the weekly staff. * Overseeing junior staff, including organizing their workload and training.

* Bank reconciliation on a weekly basis * Cash flow projection * Intercompany Reconciliation * Preparing month end accounts for submission – including posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations. * VAT return * Produce tax pack and P11d analysis * Purchase ledger – all purchase ledger duties from posting invoices to making BACS payments. * Produce daily management figures and weekly board report.

* Calculation of personal and company tax liability * Completion and submission of tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, limited liability partnerships and limited companies. * Completion and submission of Companies House returns * VAT returns * Payroll * Providing advice on tax efficiency * Providing other information as required by clients eg cash flows, completion of forms etc
