About
For the last six years my focus has been on review and audit of major government infrastructure and procurement projects and programmes. From 2009 I led the NAO’s work on the Government's preparations for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since the Games I have been focused on the transport sector, particularly rail and produced reports on Crossrail and the procurement of new trains for the Thameslink and Intercity Express programmes. I'm currently getting immersed in the world of rail franchising. I've also provided project and programme management support and advice to the UN Board of Auditor’s review of the UN’s renovation of its New York Headquarters, and produced a report on progress with nuclear decommissioning at Sellafield. Prior to my career in major projects, I researched and assessed cross-cutting issues including innovation, procurement and financial management.
