While taking courses at Book Shop LA, I honed my skills in art direction by developing concept-driven campaigns that blended design, storytelling, and strategic thinking. I created visually compelling narratives that explored how film and art can drive real-world policy change. My work involved crafting campaign identities, directing visual elements, and ensuring that each piece communicated a clear and impactful message. This experience deepened my ability to think critically about design’s role in shaping conversations and influencing audiences.

I worked closely with the Editor-in-Chief to design ads for clients in the local area. The Erie Reader is the local voice for news, arts, and culture, and is Erie's only independent, alternative newspaper.

I worked as a UI designer for a startup tech company. I designed the branding, wireframes, and prototypes for a large portal for agencies that want to manage their clients’ Google My Business accounts.

I worked as a Google certified Visual Designer for a fast-paced digital ad agency. I created anywhere from full website designs for desktop and mobile devices, to online ads, to social media graphics, to email marketing blasts. I worked with content developers, copywriters, and developers to create the right product for clients across a broad variety of fields and locations.

I was in charge of a local activist's mayoral campaign in developing the strategy, marketing, branding, constituency, and graphic design for print, web, and social media.

I managed product development from concept to completion. Communicated with Sales Department, Art Department, and Vendors on design, engineering, and advertising of new products and their success. I traveled extensively across the U.S., China, and Hong Kong developing and seeking out new products.

I conducted international economic research for the National Security Program, handled correspondence for Selig Harrison in the Asia Program, updated web site, answered phones, and attended weekly meetings.
