I am proficient in caring for patients that have: trachs, are on vents, lab draws, PTINR's, catheters, oxygen, education/teaching, administering mediations via IV, oral, sublingual, topical, tube feed, etc. Wound care, wound vacs, drains. I am very thorough in my documentation and follow up. I'm very much a team player. I look forward to learning new tasks and building on what I have already learned. Patient care/satisfaction is very important to me, the bottom dollar is not. I feel that patients know their bodies better than anyone else and therefore their concerns need to be heard. I try to be as flexible as possible with my schedule within reason. I'm married with 2 children. One of which is a Type 1 diabetic. We stay very busy as a family between our work, school and sports schedules. I am currently working on my LPN to BSN via The College Network to Indiana State bridge program as well.
