Heather Butt

My interest in Pharmacy sparked during a High School Co-op position that rotated through different areas of my local hospital. I went in thinking that I wanted to be a nurse, which quickly changed during the co-op when I found the Pharmacy Department. Knowing that I can help contribute to someone's well-being and care without being directly hands-on gave me great pleasure. Fast track to a few (okay, maybe more than a few) years later, I've spent the past 16 years in Long-Term Care Pharmacy, in various positions. My last position was 10 years as a Project Coordinator, With a very successful track record of delivering high-quality consumer services and pharmacy operations during Business Implementations. During this position, I gained strong coordinating skills, such as planning, organizing, communicating, and problem-solving, as well as a solid knowledge of the pharmacy industry and regulations. I am passionate about providing the best care and service to patients and clients, and I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies. I am looking for a new opportunity to leverage my experience and competencies in a dynamic and innovative organization. Outside of work, I volunteer as a mentor with Big Brother Big Sister, thoroughly enjoy OHL hockey and baseball, spending time with my large family, and being outdoors (camping, hiking etc.)
