As a partner within the Corporate & Securities group at Baker McKenzie LLP, I advise companies on matters related to corporate finance and securities law, mergers and acquisitions and restructurings. My clients range from start-ups and small businesses to major U.S. and multinational companies whose securities are traded on NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange and foreign exchanges. I also assist my clients in complying with the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Finance Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked in the areas of compliance and administration for a major government contractor that was responsible for the day to day operations of the U.S. space shuttle fleet.
