Hazrin Hasan

I serve as Vice President, Gas Assets & Solutions at MISC Berhad, with responsibility for the management of LNG shipping and non-conventional gas asset solutions, focusing on safety, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. My career began at sea, progressing from Engine Cadet to Chief Engineer, before moving into senior leadership roles, including Managing Director and CEO of MISC Maritime Services. This operational grounding continues to shape my leadership approach and strategic decision-making. I am a certified Chief Engineer accredited by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency, with formal training in Marine Engineering from South Tyneside College and executive development through INSEAD's Senior Management Development Program. I also contribute to the industry as a Board Member of SIGTTO and Council Member of the Malaysian Gas Association.
