Managing the full portfolio of product at Kavee; tracking current product lifecycles and performance, as well as identifying new areas of interest for product development. Planning and managing timescales for new products, keeping each department on track for product launch. Developing new products with the best identified suppliers, from R&D to market. Reviewing the financial & business impact of each new launch.

End to end development of products; from concept and R&D, to design specification and sampling with factories, all the way through to bringing physical product to market. I also design all product packaging to go alongside product.

Responsible for all new product coming into the business, overseeing and leading the design team. Liaising with customers and higher management to ensure that deadlines are met, and to the highest possible standard. Project management skills are essential to my role, as well as keen attention to detail. Following projects through from a sketch on paper to a marketable product, and all of the marketing material around them is a massive part of my role.

An integral part of a small, fast paced design team. I designed product, catalogues, exhibitions, infographics and marketing material regularly, but as part of a small team my role was very varied depending on what was needed. I regularly traveled to visit factories making product I had to designed to see them through to production. I would then be heavily involved with the marketing team on how to bring these products to market, and created the marketing material for them.
