Havva Namal

As a 4th-year Computer Engineering student at Karabük University, I am developing my skills in cybersecurity, system administration, and network infrastructures. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in practice through internship experiences at different organizations. During my internship at TRYSEC Cyber Security, I worked on web application security using tools such as Kali Linux, Burp Suite, and Nmap, gaining experience in identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities within the scope of OWASP Top 10. Additionally, as a Red Team Intern at EMA Security, I gained hands-on experience from an offensive security perspective by working on web penetration testing, OSINT research, social engineering scenarios, and phishing and DDoS simulations. As part of my system administration internship at INTETRA, I was involved in the management and monitoring of corporate IT infrastructures. In this role, I worked on system and service monitoring with Nagios XI, server deployments in VMware ESXi and Proxmox environments, Windows Server services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, FTP), and the Wazuh security platform. Currently, I continue to work at INTETRA as a System & Network Engineer Intern. By combining my experience from both Red Team and System & Network perspectives, I aim to further develop my expertise and contribute to projects that enhance the security and reliability of corporate infrastructures.
