Hasan Inal, MBA, CNAP
Controller @ Physicians for Human Rights
About
As a seasoned non-profit accounting professional with over a decade of experience, I serve as the Controller at Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), a Nobel Peace Prize–winning organization that leverages medicine and science to document and advocate against mass atrocities and severe human rights violations globally. In this role, I oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit preparation. Previously, I was the Controller at GLSEN, where I enhanced financial efficiency and accuracy, and before that, I served as the Senior Manager of Accounting at the National Hemophilia Foundation, leading a team responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. I am passionate about applying my financial expertise to support the missions of nonprofit organizations and am continually seeking innovative ways to improve financial management and reporting.
