I worked cross-functionally with operations, pharmacy, nursing and two therapeutic departments - orthopedics and cardiovascular - to improve patient experience through marketing communications and presentations. I was also responsible for relationship client handling for those corporate and governmental organizations that have referral ties for patients with the hospital; ties are valued at $11M annually.

I designed and directed 7 dental camps over a span of 6 months with minimal resources and man-power, leading to cost reduction by 60% over 6 months. My biggest accomplishment was planning and spearheading a first of its kind innovative anti-tobacco campaign in Bhubaneswar city on WHO recognized World No Tobacco Day. I negotiated with senior management and administrative governmental heads of the Railway Ministry, Airport Authority of India and Central Industrial Security Forces to provide strategic locations for the campaign for zero charges. Campaign received huge media press coverage and the number of patients doubled at the Anti-Tobacco Counseling center.

Worked as a research assistant and dental consultant on a project that discovered the minimum inhibitory concentration of 5 medicinal plants against the main micro-organism that causes tooth decay to find an alternative solution to antibiotic resistance against chlorhexidine - gold standard of mouthwash.

I performed complex procedures on 11 patients per day, working six days a week for more than 4000 clinical hours. I did not restrict myself only to my dental tools. I contributed to my clinic by introducing several marketing initiatives and by improving public relations of the clinic. Most innovative initiative was playing of educational videos in the waiting area of clinic; with the staff of the clinic acting as actors to give it a personalized and live approach. The videos primarily concentrated on preventive oral care. This led to 32% increase in annual clinical revenues and 40% year-over-year increase in preventive procedures.
