•Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers across the globe in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality for our integrated agricultural farming project at Gambella 25000 Hectares. •Liaising between suppliers,manufacturers, relevant internal departments for matching requirements of farm. •Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them. •Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress - checking the quality of service provided •Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities and producing reports and statistics. •Attending meetings and trade conferences to be updated with the current market trends and future availability •Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers. •Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management. •Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting from suppliers. •Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency. •Managing the finance of Company at Addis Ababa and carry out all acts of management related to funds banking and controlling of the ongoing commercial farming project. •Coordinating with Ethiopian customs and ECRA,CHA’s to expedite release of consignments sent across the world with due compliance of East Africa and central Africa laws. •Being the representative of a large foreign investor in Addis Ababa coordinate and liaise with various ministries like Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of social and labour affairs,Ethiopian Investment agency and Development bank of Ethiopia & use the best of knowledge experience and inter personal skills to discharge responsibilities in the best interest of employer.
