As an Engineering Manager, I am responsible for design and development of Automotive Battery Components for Serial production. With a global team of qualified Engineers, it is inherent part of my daily routine to keep my team motivated to bring Innovative and efficient solutions to market with cost, quality and timing as pillars of design philosophy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a System Engineer (Bauteilverantwortung), I was responsible for product development (Automotive Battery Components) based on customer requirement. This involves: Evaluation of requirement specification & customer communication from RFQ phase till Serial launch. Definition of product architecture, implementation of design and design freeze with customer. Design control through technical product specification based on DFMEA. Supplier communication and feasibility analysis for part manufacturability. Definition of validation and testing requirements to meet product DV/PV. Evaluation of cost saving potential and implement design VAVE during project development phase. My previous experience in Product development (Mechanical Design) include: - FEM (ANSYS Workbench & APDL / CFD/ Numerical methods to analyze Product & processes (Automotive & Energy sector). - Simulation of Complex processes using numerical tools. - Product Testing and validation - NX-Unigraphics/Teamcenter,Solidworks ,GD&T/ Tolerance stack-up. - LEAN/SIX SIGMA/DOE/RCA. - New manufacturing process Deployment-Line architecture and design methodology. - Methods Time Measurement (MTM).
