• Executed 5.0 L and 8.0 L diesel engine development tests by setting up engines on dynamometer test cells to support calibration validation and emissions activities, along with EPA 40 CFR 1065 certification testing. • Developed engine calibrations using ETAS INCA to conduct development testing on an 8.0 L diesel engine, recreating BPU diagnostic scenarios including MAF sensor drift, Fuel System Monitor operation, intake throttle sweeps, and overboost/underboost conditions to evaluate impacts on engine-out NOx, soot, and regulated emissions. • Optimized test cell configuration to accommodate a Sierra BG3 under space constraints by routing a shared exhaust system from two 8.0 L engines to the BG3 while maintaining exhaust pipe lengths within specification limits • Analyzed ambient points, reference points and emissions test data using UniPlot, identifying drifted sensors and instrumentation through review of ambient point data, FTP cycle and RMC cycle (Cold Hot Emissions Testing and SET-Supplemental Emissions Test) results, and emissions analyzer outputs from Horiba and BG3 test benches. • Automated routine data processing tasks using Python (vibe coding), extracting parameters such as after-DPF temperatures at defined soot load thresholds and pre-turbo pressure at specific Qfin values, improving efficiency in test data analysis. • Analyzed diesel truck fleet data using MDA and Aptiv tools to evaluate detection and healing metrics, synthesizing findings into technical reports and presentations for BPU diagnostic validation.

• Applied engineering principles to interpret any anomalies in engine operations, resulting from maintenance or hardware modifications, in accordance with stakeholder feedback. • Ensured accurate data acquisition by meticulously reviewing reference points and addressing any identified concerns. • Leveraged engineering principles to resolve technical issues through specialized software such as ETAS Inca TopExpert and Uniplot. • Coordinated test cell requests by providing technicians with work order lineups. • Implemented automated data processing procedures utilizing Python, resulting in a 20.8% reduction in processing time.
