My role as Head of Talent Acquisition here at World Defense Show supports the Exec, our Line Directors and the team as follows: Organisation Structure – Support and develop the organisation structure from 4 employees to 140++. Hired the Executive and Director team to create essential workstreams for sales, sponsorship, delegations, display, finance, procurement, marketing, construction, project management, operations, IT and HR. International Deployment – talent search, recruitment, contracting and deployment of the team in New York, Paris, London, Beijing, UAE, Azerbaijan, India, Sri Lanka and Riyadh. Created world-class candidate collateral, designed interview and hiring processes, managed 70+ international searches for specialists and negotiated hiring packages through our talent team, always with a focus on knowledge sharing and Saudisation Onboarding – Design and day to day management of the complex onboarding programme of the multi-cultural team whilst dealing with all the challenges presented by the pandemic overlayed with highly detailed requirements of the Saudi work visa and residency system. HR Team – Day to day support to the Saudi HR team to embed the benefits and operating policies that enable a multi geography and multi-cultural team with multiple hiring models, whilst always aligning with Saudi Labor Law.
