Harry Wing

I have a First-Class Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master’s degree in Immunology (Merit) from King’s College London, with over 4 years industry experience. I have strong practical scientific and broad laboratory skills across the disciplines of immunology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pharmacology. I have gained substantial experience of performing routine biochemical and binding assays to assess target engagement using a variety of techniques for protein analysis e.g., ELISA, AlphaLISA, FP, HTRF, chemiluminescence and Western blot analysis. I also have considerable experience in primary cell isolation, cell culture/ co-culture, flow cytometry, DNA extraction, qPCR as well as aseptic techniques.I am enthusiastic, self-motivated, hardworking, and passionate about scientific research. I fully enjoyed the research projects for both my degrees but particularly my MSc project which was based on the effects of iron deprivation on the function, phenotype, and intercellular communication of CD8+ T cells. I would ideally like to be part of a fast-paced in vitro biology research team where I can continue to develop my practical and theoretical skills in immunology whilst helping to bring new molecules or therapies to the clinic.
