Responsibilities included communications and coordination of 4 independent Engineering firms and multiple groups within Nexen. Project and Construction Manager - Gas Injection Kinosis 1B and Phase 2: Responsibilities include engineering, design, procurement, construction (new pipelines & facilities), commissioning and start up. Project delivered on time and budget.

Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Production Department including 350 personnel, safe and efficient operations of oil wells, field gathering systems (3500 kms of pipelines), oil processing facilities, (250,000 bopd), diesel distillation, power generation (600 Mega Watts), utilities, and the corrosion-laboratory group at Nexen’s Masila operations located in Yemen. Production, safety, and financial targets were achieved 9 of the 10 years working in Yemen. Responsibilities included development and stewardship of annual operating and capital budgets. Management and development of 250 employees in a union environment - champion safety management systems, develop - implement, and manage process safety management systems – production and financial reporting – stakeholder engagement, senior management, and government officials – Develop and implement cost and operational efficiencies.
