Working as an assistant accountant to the head of finance and operations I was responsible for completing management accounts, preparing cashflow forecasts, providing insight via reporting and analytics into key customer accounts and divisional and geographical performance of the business. Translating from the German division of the business into English for input into our accountancy software and reporting within the management accounts. I was also responsible for managing the general ledger and maintaining Quickbooks.

I am currently working in an accountancy practice some of my tasks are preparing year end accounts, completing vat returns and reconciling bank accounts

I log invoices, manage suppliers and direct debits, construct trial balances and explain the business behind the numbers.

I worked in the event services team ensuring customers had the best experience possible.

I rotated around several different roles including Management Accountant, Project Accountant and Purchase Ledger clerk. Whilst working in the project accountancy role I was involved in creating the new budget templates on excel that had not been used before and were rolled out to all the budget holders within the society.
