After completing my Bachelor's degree in Health Studies at York University, I started working as a Surgical Coordinator at OCC Eye Care. During my time there I learned a lot about effective patient care and coordination between different health care providers. I also learned about different electronic health records softwares, including Clinical Information Systems, where I developed an interest in health informatics. Recently, I decided to further pursue my interest in health informatics and enrolled in the post-graduate program at George Brown College. The evolution of information and communication technology in the health care system is vastly growing which brings great interest to this program and future career opportunities. I am alway striving to bring my best to the work I do, I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. Outside of work and school I enjoy hiking, baking, and binge watching Greys Anatomy on Netflix.
