I joined Volaris as an IT Service Desk Analyst, and got my next opportunity to work as an system admin this year. Currently doing the following roles in the company: - Build and manage servers, including domain controllers and related systems - Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches. - Manage enterprise directory services and supporting server infrastructure - Define and perform server backups and recovery procedures - Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights. - Participate in the service desk Incident/Service processes. Prioritize, categorize and respond to service desk tickets and/or escalate as appropriate - Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records - Design and deploy new systems, applications and/or enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems - Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for administrative and automated functions as required. - Collaborate and participate in the integration of all newly acquired businesses to our core systems - Maintain Networking infrastructure and configure connectivity to external networks as needed - Administer and enhance the core systems within the Office 365 Platform which include Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams etc. - Lead a new initiative to transition devices to Azure AD and Intune for systems management - Maintain and enhance security related tools for endpoints and email protection (ie. Malwarebytes, Proofpoint etc.)
