* RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supported agile projects and involved in meetings with Project Manager and Development teams. * Responsible for testing the web application and mobile application in accordance with the business requirements. * Designing the test cases for stories and tasks in TestRail. * Responsible for testing and updating the status for the test cases with test results in TestRail. * Logged defects, monitor their status and track them to closure using Jira defect tracking system. * Coordinated with the development teams for defect resolution, retest and clarifications. * Creation and updation of Jira Wiki-Confluence with documents. * Worked closely with the release manager for weekly releases. * Conducted PVT(Production Verification Testing) after the code went live. * Attended stand-up call on routine basis.

The nature of job included teaching 2 to 3 subjects per semester. Apart from teaching, being a project guide to the final year students was also an integral part of the job. As a project guide, responsibilities of the faculty members comprised of guiding the students with the choice of applications that they wanted to develop and then testing the GUI and database of the developed applications to identify the errors if any in the developed code.
