United Arab Chemical Carriers Limited (UACC) operate a fleet vessels to transport refined oil products and petro-chemicals worldwide. Hired to manage the marine operations department comprising of a fleet of 22 tankers including 13 oil tankers, 9 chemical tankers and 2 gas tankers under spot voyage, TC trips and time charters. ◼️ Introduced an in-house tanker cleaning capability to replace existing 3rd party supplier, reducing operational costs by up to USD1.5m each year for the past 2-years. ◼️ Successfully completed Executive MBA at The Business School in London. ◼️ Reduced tank cleaning time for chemical ships for veg oils to high spec chemicals from 12 days to 7 days by introducing efficiencies and improvements in the process. ◼️ Streamlined bunker, chemical purchases at hub ports, reducing costs while maintaining product quality.

Hired to facilitate safe operations of the company’s vessels, to ensure they are maintained in a satisfactory condition in order to prevent possible downtime. Acted as focal point between shipowners, commercial operators, charterers, terminals, receivers, classification society, flag state, port state control, dry dock companies, repair shops, equipment suppliers, service providers and other company departments to deliver superintendence support. ◼️ Successfully recruited and built a Marine Superintendent team to manage 45 chemical and gas tankers worldwide trades. ◼️ Reduced pre-wash quantities on vessels complying with Marpol, significantly reducing operational costs for owners and charterers. ◼️ Improved ship safety with implementation of Ship Management System (SMS) policy and behaviour-based safety programme.
