I am an MSc student in Operational Research with Risk at the University of Edinburgh, passionate about using mathematical modeling, machine learning, and risk analysis to solve real-world challenges. Whether it’s optimizing supply chains, developing financial risk models, or applying machine learning for predictive analytics, I enjoy finding data-driven solutions that make a tangible impact. What Drives Me I thrive in environments where quantitative analysis meets strategic decision-making. Transforming raw data into actionable insights is something I find exciting, whether that means improving financial models, optimizing logistics, or managing uncertainty in complex systems. What I Bring to the Table - Operational Research & Optimization – Experience with stochastic modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, integer programming, and supply chain optimization. - Machine Learning & Data Science – Skilled in Python, R, and SQL for predictive analytics, risk modeling, and data-driven decision-making. - Finance & Risk Management – Proficient in credit risk modeling, financial uncertainty analysis, and time series forecasting. - Leadership & Problem-Solving – Led multidisciplinary teams, managed high-impact research projects, and provided data-driven strategic recommendations. A Glimpse into My Journey - Optimization & Risk Projects – Developed a cost-efficient hydrogen supply chain model, Market capture and scheduling problem a television channel for Sopra Steria(MMCS), and designed statistical models for Covid-19 infection prediction using R(Statistical programming). - Research Experience – Conducted advanced FEA simulations at IIT Bombay, optimizing biomedical thread designs through CAD modeling and ANSYS analysis. - Leadership in Engineering & Consulting – As Team Captain at DJS Skylark, led a team of more than 25 members, optimised aircraft performance through quantitative modeling and data analytics using tools such as Matlab, Excel, Tableau and Python; Furthermore, won first place for Design Report. Looking Ahead I am eager to apply my analytical mindset and technical expertise to real-world challenges in optimization, risk analysis, data science, finance, and consulting.
