Represent 3,000 member professional body responsible for leading, advocating for and representing the dentists of Alberta.

Chief Executive Officer: • Creates, communicates and implements the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction. • Leads the development and implementation of the overall organization's strategy. • Guides, directs, and evaluates the work of other executive leaders including directors, controllers and managers, depending on the organization's reporting structure. • Evaluates the success of the organization in reaching its goals. • Maintains awareness of both the external and the internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, etc • Participates in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the CEO's leadership skills or the organization's reputation and potential for success. • Demonstrates the leadership necessary to make the organization's mission a success. • Creates a learning organization that will continue to grow and flourish and enhance the skills and abilities of employees. Chief Dental Officer: • Monitors clinical performance of dentists and leads efforts to improve outcomes and operations which contributes to an enhanced experience for the provider, staff and patients. • Establishes systems of accountability to include productivity benchmarks, performance measures and controls for clinical quality assurance. • Works with management to identify weaknesses and to elevate professional performance of dentists. • Provides support for dentists to improve consistency of quality standards for treatment planning and presentation and efficiency of work provided.
